SkyFall. MGM/Sony Pictures and Eon Productions. Starring Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Bernice Marlohoe and Ralph Fiennes. Directed by Sam Mendes. Written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Bond (Craig) in pursuit on his bike

This film marks the 23rd installment of the Bond 007 franchise which is now 50 years-old. Some major changes take place in this movie when M16 comes under major attack from one of its own former operative Raoul Silva (Bardem).

M (Dench) in deep thought

Bond’s (Craig) loyalty to M (Dench) is greatly tested and the action and near death suspense that is a 007 trademark is in plentiful supply.

Severine ( Bernice Marlochoe)

Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris)

The Bond beauties Severine (Marlohoe) and Eve Moneypenny (Harris) sensuously continue the Bond girl eye candy legacy. Bond fans should greatly approve of this one!

The Details. Radius TWC. Starring Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Kerry Washington, Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert and Laura Linney. Written and Directed by Jacob Aaron Estes. Produced by Mark Gordon.

The Lang's in their backyard

Our situation here begins with a problem of raccoons digging up the Lang’s back yard for the yummy, juicy worms in the fresh laid sod but it escalates to infidelity, head games and even murder.

Dr. Jeff Lang (Tobey Maguire)

Dr. Jeff Lang (Tobey Maguire of Spiderman fame) gets himself into a series of messes that only a scriptwriter could come up with and they all involve other people and everybody is in a pickle. The movie could serve as a barometer of what not to do if you want a life that is as hassle free as possible.

Movie Review - Flight

Movie Review - Flight

Flight. Paramount Pictures, Parkes/MacDonald Productions and ImageMovers. Starring Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Kelly Reilly, John Goodman, Bruce Greenwood, Melissa Leo, Brian Geraghty, Tamara Tunie, Nadine Velazquez and James Badge Dale. Directed by Robert Zemeckis. Screenplay by John Gatins. Produced by Walter F. Parks, Laurie MacDonald, Robert Zemeckis, Steve Starkey and Jack Rapke

Denzel Washington as pilot Whip Whitaker

The pairing of two Oscar® winners i.e. director Robert Zemeckis and actor Denzel Washington made for an explosive combination for “Flight” and may have sealed the way for another big “O” trophy for either or both come spring. Washington puts his stamp on this role so convincingly that you can’t help but believe he “is” Whip Whitaker the pilot who made a miraculous crash landing that very few pilots could do.

Whip and Nicole (Kelly Reilly)

His lovely co-star Kelly Reilly who plays recovering heroin addict Nicole Maggen, his on screen love interest, is equally on point, delivering the dramatic goods with the right intensity in the right places. The jet crash scene is as intense and believably real as it gets. Zemeckis pays such close attention to the smallest details of a plane nose diving. He places the viewers dead center in the cockpit and allows them to experience the horror that the passengers and crew are going through in the cabin in such a realistic way you might sweat your seat. Great movie!

Argo. Warner Bros. Pictures, GK Films and a Smokehouse Pictures Productions. Starring Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, John Goodman, Victor Garber. Tate Bonovan, Clea DuVall, Scoot McNairy, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham and Kerry Bishe. Directed by Ben Affleck. Antonio J. (Tony) Mendez Author. Screenplay by Chris Terrio. Joshuah Bearman “Based On” Writer. Produced by Ben Affleck, Grant Heslov and George Clooney.

American Hostages hightailing it for the Canadian Embassy
Argo is based on the true CIA rescue mission to get six Americans out of Iran who managed to escape to the Canadian Embassy and hide out when the American Embassy had been over run and 52 Americans were taken hostage on November 4, 1979.

CIA Operative Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) briefs hostages

The plot was to create a fake movie and have the six Americans pose as Canadian film makers and fly them out. As incredible as this story sounds, it worked. This is a film that will keep you on the edge of your seat while you keep saying to yourself, this can’t be true! I predict no less than five Oscar® nods for this masterpiece including “Best Picture” and “Best Director” for Ben Affleck!

While Ruby is steadfastly holding out from seeing other men and staying true to Derek, she finds out through the grapevine that Derek is creeping on her and not holding up his end of the being faithful bargian.

Ruby and Brian (David Oyelowo)

In the meantime, bus driver Brian (Oyelowo) has had his eye on Ruby who initially turned down his advances. But since Brian dropped the ball, she breaks down and gets it on with Brian and the situation becomes a love triangle for Ruby.
